What is the SM15K Power Supply?

The SM15K is a 15 kW bi-directional DC power supply by Intepro/Delta that can both supply and absorb power. Its Power Regeneration Technology returns energy to the grid, improving efficiency and reducing heat.

What voltage and current ranges are supported?

Available in four models: SM70 CP 450 (0–70 V, ±450 A), SM210 CP 150 (0–210 V, ±150 A), SM500 CP 90 (0–500 V, ±90 A), and SM1500 CP 30 (0–1500 V, ±30 A).

What is “constant power output"?

The SM15K maintains a constant power level—adjusting voltage and current dynamically—mimicking three conventional supplies with rectangular VI‑characteristics for flexibility and simplified system design.

Can multiple units be paralleled or cascaded?

Yes—using master/slave interface and optional bus bar kits, up to 60 units can be paralleled (totaling 900 kW), and certain models can be series-stacked.

What applications is it ideal for?

Ideal for battery/fuel cell charging, solar inverter & PV‑simulation, motor drives, precision current sourcing, ATE, aerospace, industrial, and plasma systems.
