Covid-19 3/12/20

The outbreak of COVID-19 presents a unique challenge in meeting two overriding concerns, protection of employee safety and customer satisfaction. To limit the potential impact of COVID-19 on our employees, company operations, and valued customers, Intepro has taken the following cautionary measures:

• International business travel has been suspended for all employees unless approved by senior management.
• Employees are also being asked to restrict nonessential business travel in their respective countries of operation, again to be approved by senior management.
• Any employee who has visited a country or region subject to Government travel advisory on COVID-19 within the previous two-week period, whether for business or personal purposes, is instructed to stay away from their office for 14 days and, if possible, work remotely during that period.
• All travel within the last two weeks by employees, including travel by household members, or planned travel through 2020 to any regions reporting outbreak of COVID-19, is to be reported to Human Resources.
• All employees shall inquire and comply with Customers’ COVID-19 directives and plan visits per these and Government advisories.

In addition to the above, Intepro Systems is recommending that all its employees follow the advice given by their local Government Health advisory bodies and maintain good hygiene habits that protect against the seasonal flu virus in order to protect against exposure to COVID-19, including:

• Washing hands more often than usual for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and hot water particularly after coughing, sneezing and blowing the nose, or after being in public areas where other people may have been doing such actions.
• If using hand sanitiser, ensure that it contains at least 60% alcohol.
• Helping to reduce the spread of germs by covering the mouth and nose with a tissue, or sleeve (do not use your hands) when you cough or sneeze. If you use a tissue, throw the tissue away immediately. Wash your hands or use a hand sanitising gel immediately after.
• Cleaning and disinfect regularly touched objects and surfaces using your regular cleaning products to reduce the risk of passing the infection on to other people.
• Avoiding touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
• Staying at home when sick and seeking appropriate medical care and notifying Human Resources.
• In addition to the above list we have asked employees to refrain from hand shaking or personal contact. Please don’t be offended if our greetings are not as usual, we are just concerned with the health and safety of the community.

Finally, visitors to Intepro, we request that you supply us your travel history for the past 14 days as part of our new standard check. We reserve the right to deny and reschedule your entry to any of our facilities if a visitor has travelled to a geographical area of concern or has/is experiencing any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus in the last 14 days.

We recognize this situation remains very fluid. We will continue to monitor the impacts to global and domestic situations and provide updates to our plans. We are taking these precautions in an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers, vendors and employees.
