The substitution that goes wrong
AC loads are frequently replaced on power rating alone. Crest factor is what determines whether the load can actually absorb the waveform your DUT produces.

- AC voltage and frequency window — and whether 400 Hz is in scope, because that changes which line answers
- Crest factor and power factor capability against your actual DUT
- Regenerative path interconnection requirements
- Behavior under unbalanced three-phase load
Before you swap the hardware
A replacement that matches on headline power can still fail on the details that keep an existing rack working.
- 01Match the AC voltage and frequency window; if the requirement includes 400 Hz, the comparison moves to the AN61(F) or the AFC.
- 02Verify crest factor and power factor capability against your DUT.
- 03Check grid-tie interconnection requirements for the regenerative path.

Where this one stops
The ANRGS(F) is a regenerative grid simulator that sources and sinks; it is not sold as an AC load and its specification is written from the source side. If your 4700 was used purely as a load and never as a source, you are paying for capability you will not use — worth saying before you quote, not after. Note also that its band is 30.000~100.000Hz, so a 400 Hz requirement belongs on the AN61(F) or the AFC instead.
