The substitution that goes wrong
AC loads are frequently replaced on power rating alone. Crest factor is what determines whether the load can actually absorb the waveform your DUT produces.

- AC voltage and frequency window, including any 400 Hz requirement
- Crest factor and power factor capability against your actual DUT
- Regenerative path interconnection requirements
- Behaviour under unbalanced three-phase load
Before you swap the hardware
A replacement that matches on headline power can still fail on the details that keep an existing rack working.

Where this one stops
The PAS-F is a regenerative grid simulator that sources and sinks; it is not sold as an AC load and its specification is written from the source side. If your 4700 was used purely as a load and never as a source, you are paying for capability you will not use — worth saying before you quote, not after.
